Pink Floyd: la ristampa per il 50° anniversario di “Wish You Were Here“ esce il 12/12/2025 – PRE-ORDINA & ascolta il DEMO

Una ristampa dell’album in vari formati che include rarità tra cui sei versioni alternative e demo inedite.

La band ha condiviso una registrazione demo inedita di Welcome To The Machine, originariamente intitolata The Machine Song.

Altre rarità nella nuova ristampa includono The Machine Song (demo di Roger), la prima demo casalinga della canzone che Roger Waters portò originariamente alla band, un mix strumentale inedito del brano Wish You Were Here che mostra la pedal steel guitar di David Gilmour e, per la prima volta, un Shine On You Crazy Diamond completo (Pts. 1-9) che unisce le due metà della canzone, recentemente mixato in stereo da James Guthrie.

“Wish You Were Here 50” sarà disponibile in diversi formati, tra cui 3LP, 2CD, Blu-ray, digitale e un cofanetto Deluxe. L’edizione digitale include l’album originale del 1975, con un nuovo mix in Dolby Atmos di James Guthrie. Include anche 25 tracce bonus, tra cui nove rarità in studio, e 16 registrazioni dal vivo registrate dal famoso bootlegger Mike Millard al concerto dei Pink Floyd alla Los Angeles Sports Arena del 26 aprile 1975, ora in prima uscita ufficiale. L’audio dal vivo è stato restaurato e rimasterizzato da Steven Wilson .

L’edizione Blu-ray include tre filmati del concerto del tour del 1975 della band, più un cortometraggio di Storm Thorgerson.
