L’antologia si presenta come un lussuoso set 2CD cartonato e su doppio vinile gatefold.
All’interno si trova un saggio dell’autore Chris Welch illustrato con una serie di fotografie inedite. Inoltre, ci sono contributi del manager di ELP Stewart Young e della moglie di Greg Lake, Regina Lake, insieme a molti tributi sentiti da altri amici, artisti e colleghi.
Dopo essere stato invitato ad unirsi ai The Gods, che presentavano i futuri membri degli Uriah Heep Ken Hensley e Lee Kerslake, Lake ha accettato l’invito di Robert Fripp ad unirsi ai King Crimson nel 1969, comparendo come bassista e cantante nei loro primi due album In The Court Of The Crimson King e In The Wake Of Poseidon.
Ha lasciato i Crimson per formare Emerson, Lake & Palmer nel 1970 con i quali ha incontrato fama mondiale, lanciando poi una carriera da solista di successo negli anni ’80.
Lake è morto nel dicembre 2016 a 69 anni dopo una battaglia contro il cancro.
